The plain rules for using iksaath.

By listing a society, hosting or joining a drive, or signing up as a vendor, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

What iksaath is

iksaath is a free tool that lets residents of a housing society line up the same home service on the same day. iksaath does not carry out any service, does not employ or supervise vendors, and does not collect payment. The work and the payment are between each flat and the vendor.

Prices and savings are estimates

The "booking alone" price is the going online rate for that service in Jaipur on the date we last checked. It can change.
Pooled prices are our estimate of what a vendor may charge when many flats book together. They are not an offer or a guarantee.
The price you actually pay is whatever the vendor quotes and you accept.
Figures for money saved, trips avoided, fuel and CO₂ are estimates based on stated assumptions.

iksaath is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MyGate. Its name is used only to describe how a flat was verified.

Joining a drive

Joining a drive tells your neighbours and the host that you want the service on that day. It is not a binding booking, and you owe nothing until you agree a price with the vendor.

What we ask of you

Enter true details, and only your own flat and your own mobile number.
List only a society you live in.
If you host a drive, use the names and numbers you see only to organise that drive.
Do not use iksaath to spam, harass or mislead anyone, or try to break or overload it.

Vendors

Vendors are independent businesses. If you sign up as a vendor you are responsible for your own work, staff, pricing, licences and taxes. iksaath does not promise you any number of jobs.

What we may do

We may remove a society, drive or record that looks false, abusive or unlawful, and we may change or stop the service. We will try to give notice where that is practical.

Our responsibility

iksaath is provided as it is. We do not vouch for any vendor or resident, and we are not responsible for the quality of any work, for damage or loss during a visit, or for disputes between residents and vendors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan have jurisdiction over any dispute.
