# iksaath

> iksaath (एक साथ, "together") is a free website for housing societies in Jaipur, India. Neighbours book the same home service on the same day, so one vendor visit covers many flats and every flat pays less than booking alone.

## How it works
- A resident finds their society by name on iksaath.com (or adds it), picks a service and a day, and hosts a "drive".
- The drive is listed on the society page. Any neighbour who visits can add their flat; nobody has to gather people first.
- The price per flat drops as flats join: 8% with 2 flats, 17% with 3 flats, 25% with 4 flats, 32% with 15 flats, 40% with 30 or more flats. Home deep cleaning gets half these discounts.
- Joining is free and is not a binding booking. Each flat pays the vendor directly after the job. iksaath takes no payment.
- Prices are estimates. The "alone" price is the going online rate in Jaipur; the final price is the vendor's quote.
